Last week, Southpointe Academy organized a “Pick-Up & Go” event to support their youngest learners (K-5) with online learning, which has now entered its third week. The Junior School parents were invited to pick-up care packages, filled with school supplies, science experiment materials, personal messages from teachers, notebooks, inquiry journals, musical instruments, and crafting tools, among many other items all put together by the teachers.
Demonstrating Southpointe’s values, our students participated in their first Kids’ Lit Quiz competition finishing 9th out of 37 teams.
Our Junior School students took wonderful action by creating over 200 angels that were distributed to businesses around Delta. More angels will be found on our Southpointe Christmas tree, which will be placed in the Foyer the week of November 25.
