At Southpointe Academy, we believe that participation in athletics provides students with a variety of learning opportunities that will enhance their overall physical, psychological, and emotional development.
Our Athletic Program seeks to embody our school’s core values: respect, integrity, perseverance, responsibility, and kindness, with the goal of developing outstanding character, leadership skills, and interpersonal skills. We strive for both excellence and participation within our program and to develop, within each student, a strong sense of commitment toward an active and healthy lifestyle and a disciplined approach to skill development and fitness. We encourage all students to discover an athletic offering that interests them enough to pursue throughout their years at the school and possibly their lifetime.
More information about our school sports offerings and the athletic associations & leagues that we are members of can be found on our school website and all game and practice schedules can be found on our athletics website. Please contact Mr. McCall if you have any questions and keep checking this newsletter for weekly sports updates and articles.
