Applications are accepted at all grades; however, our main point of entry is Kindergarten, with limited intakes for Grades 1, 2, 4, 6, and 8. We strive to make the application process as seamless as possible.

Application Fees

• Domestic Applicants: $435
• International Applicants: $870

Application fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. This fee may be paid by credit card or cheque to 'Southpointe Academy.'

When submitting an online application, please be prepared to provide the following documents electronically.

• Recent photograph of the applicant (ideally a headshot where we can see their face clearly);
• Photocopy of applicant's birth certificate or passport, and, if not born in Canada, proof of permanent residence or study visa;
• Photocopy of parent's proof of Canadian citizenship status or permanent residence status or study/work visa;
• Proof of residence provided with a copy of a parent's driver's license or Hydro/Gas bill with current address;
• Student Reference Form from current core subject teacher (template will be provided in your application checklist); 
• School report cards/progress reports: Previous final report card and most recent school report card/progress report, if applicable;
• Any Individual Educational Plans (IEP) assigned to the applicant (if applicable);
• Any educational related assessments of the student, including but not limited to psychologists, counsellors, etc. (if applicable);
• Any other pertinent information regarding the applicant's educational needs;
• Custody order (if applicable);
• Court-appointed guardianship (if applicable).

After reviewing their application, your child will be invited for an assessment prior to moving forward with a family interview. Our Prospective Student Assessments take place in January, where students applying for Kindergarten to Grade 11 will complete teacher-prepared assessments.

Offers will primarily be confirmed between January and April each year. Enrolment decisions are based on a holistic assessment in support of our Mission, Vision and Values as we seek to educate the whole child. If you decide to accept an offer of enrolment, we ask that you confirm your decision by returning the signed documents and any tuition/fees by the deadline outlined in the offer letter.

Please note all enrolment decisions are confirmed by our Head of School.

Applications are valid for one admissions cycle.

To continue your child's application for the following year's admissions cycle, a $200 re-application fee must be submitted through your online admissions account.

The Application Extension Process will take place annually in late August.
