Nestled in the heart of South Delta, Southpointe Academy is surrounded by breathtaking ocean views, peaceful nature reserves, and a vibrant, growing community rich in history. Since opening our doors in 2000, Southpointe has evolved into a leading independent school offering the full International Baccalaureate (IB) Continuum Programme—an internationally respected framework that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and a global perspective.
We are proud to be authorized to deliver the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) from Kindergarten to Grade 5, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) from Grades 6 to 10, and the Diploma Programme (DP) for Grades 11 and 12. As the only school in Delta—and one of few in Canada—to offer all three IB programmes from Kindergarten through Grade 12, our students benefit from a seamless, enriching, and globally minded educational experience.

Once a Titan, always a Titan! We want to see our graduates excel beyond their time at Southpointe and achieve success in university, career and citizenship. While students go on to join our Alumni, we hope that each graduate remains a partner in the Southpointe community for life.
Our Future
Southpointe Academy is in the development stage of our Master Campus Plan expansion. We are expanding and enriching our curricular and co-curricular offerings for students and families with additional specialist classrooms and amenities. Southpointe will be able to offer more courses from Kindergarten to Grade 12 as Delta’s only International Baccalaureate (IB) Continuum School and enrich the strength of its athletics, arts, outdoor education and service-learning programs. The growth of Southpointe will serve local families' needs, enhance the local economy, and enrich the overall community development of South Delta.
